When will CUET UG 2027 registration start?

There is no confirmed opening or last date yet. In the 2026 bulletin, NTA listed online applications from 3 to 30 January 2026, with a later notice extending the deadline. That history is useful for planning, but it does not set the 2027 calendar. Follow the dates in the new bulletin and any later extension notice.

Where will the application form be available?

Use the CUET UG portal linked from cuet.nta.nic.in. Do not submit personal details or payment through an unofficial “early registration” page. Before you begin, read the 2027 information bulletin and the programme eligibility pages of your target universities.

Application steps to expect

The 2026 bulletin describes an online workflow. The 2027 workflow may change, so follow the new instructions when released.

1. Register and save the application number and password securely.
2. Complete personal, contact and qualifying-examination details exactly as required.
3. Select programmes or institutions where the form asks for them, and choose CUET test papers after checking each programme’s subject requirements.
4. Upload the photograph, signature and any requested certificates in the specified format and size.
5. Pay the fee through an offered payment method and wait for the confirmation page.
6. Download the final confirmation page and keep a copy with your application number.

Prepare these details before the form opens

• Your name and date of birth as shown on your official records.
• An email address and mobile number you can access throughout the admissions cycle.
• Class 10 and 12 details, category information and certificates if applicable.
• A short list of target courses, universities and the CUET subjects each one requires.
• Digital copies of the documents requested by the current bulletin.

Common mistakes to avoid

Do not choose papers only because they match your Class 12 stream; the university programme mapping is what matters. Avoid typos in contact details, uploading blurry or incorrectly sized files, leaving payment without checking confirmation, and assuming a correction window will let you change every field. The 2026 bulletin said only specified fields could be corrected during the notified window.
